Interested in Medieval re-enactment?

Do you have an interest in Medieval History - specifically 1060 - 1160AD? Do you enjoy making things, dressing up, learning new crafts and medieval weapon's training? Then our group could be for you. This is not a fantasy medieval group, however, and our members are very passionate in the things we do and in learning as much about our time frame as we can.

For more information, blog and photos you can visit our website on:  http://www.freewebs.com/coffsmedguild

or email us on:  korffsmedguild@yahoo.com.au

We are still looking for people to join our group.....that person could be you. You'll never know whether you are interested or not until you come along and see us and speak to us. Check out our website for our venues and dates.  Looking forward to seeing you. Jean (Secretary).

Re: Interested in Medieval re-enactment?

Hi Jean,

Saw your advert, I used to be in Kyral Castle near Ballarat some 30 plus years ago having a jewellery store then and partner in it with Keith Ryal the owner. At that time there were regular daily events and re enactments from daily hangings, whippings, jousting and much more etc. It was a great place in its first years when I was there. My female shop assistant was whipped daily I didn't even have to do it.

I'm not into it now anymore but you're welcome to advertise it and perhaps have your members use our new local message board which I hope eventually can be used by many people around the town of Coffs Harbour. It's only new so membership will take a little while for me to get it all going. Its a good local venue to advertise your events and keep in touch etc.

Regards

John
